In the long-term clinical diagnosis and treatment,Professor SUN Kewei summarized and found that a variety of liver diseases have the same destination by different ways,and put forward the academic experience of 'tonifying spleen and soil,relieving liver depression','expelling dampness evil, heat without any basis','tonifying congenital, detoxifying and eliminating evil','regulating qi and blood, removing blood stasis','warming spleen yang, cutting off and reversing'. The clinical application has shown significant effects. This article will analyze Professor Sun Kewei's experience in treating liver disease based on pattern identification from the above five methods, in order to provide reference for the diagnosis and treatment of liver disease in traditional Chinese medicine.
